Every Saturday and Sunday from March until December, the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood becomes a lively arts and crafts marketplace. Operating since 1974, the Portland Saturday Market is the largest continually operating outdoor arts and crafts market in the country. Located at Waterfront Park and Ankeny Plaza in Portland's historic Old Town, the Portland Saturday Market features dozens of arts and crafts stalls with the Northwest's top artists and artisans, as well as ethnic foods and live entertainment.
With a cheerful atmosphere and colorful crowds, the Portland Saturday Market is the best place in Portland to shop for original art, hand-made pottery, ceramics and glass, wood crafts, garden products, jewelry and one-of-a-kind gifts. Sample hand-made foods at the International Food Court and enjoy free music on the main stage. Stop by the Rogue Brewery for delicious beer and Oregon wines.
