Founded in 1992, the Portland Farmers Market gives the people of Portland access to over 250 farms, orchards, dairies, nurseries, bakeries, meat and seafood providers, cheese makers and specialty food producers with roots in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Are Credit or Debit Cards accepted at the farmers markets?
Shoppers can use debit, credit, or Oregon Trail Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards at the PFM information booth in exchange for market money (wooden tokens). Tokens come in $1 and $5 denominations and used like cash.
When are the farmers markets held?
The Portland Farmers Market is held in seven sites around Portland in the Spring, Summer and Fall, from mid-March until late October. The Winter Market at Shemasnki Park is held on Saturdays from January 7 through February 25th.
