Inspired by the city’s premier arts institutions, our collection of individually decorated suites is delightfully unique. Each of these four decadent guest rooms has been designed to reflect a different aspect of Portland’s relationship to the arts. The Literary, Fine Arts, Center Stage, and Symphony Suites feature whimsical décor particular to each discipline, and when combined with the Heathman’s luxe amenities…well, you’re in for a wonderful treat. Best of all, your stay in one of our signature suites helps support the arts in Portland.
The Literary Art Suite is a celebration of the Heathman Hotel's partnership with Literary Arts of Oregon and The Arts & Lecture Series. As you settle into the deeply lofted leather couch, you will be reminded of the old exclusive studies of professors and authors.
In celebration of Portland Center Stage's pivotal role in our city and region, The Heathman Hotel was inspired to create the Portland Center Stage Suite. Your stay comes complete with your own handmade costumes by costume designer Jeffrey Cone.
The Heathman Hotel's Fine Arts Suite was designed to emphasize the property's dedication to the craft. You'll be transfixed the second you walk in with design influence and fixtures by top local artists. There are even works added by famous filmmaker Gus Van Sant.
This suite is inspired by the oldest symphony in the Western United States (100 years and counting). The melodic scheme of this room is centered on the cello sculpture with ginkgo leafed branches emerging for the body. This was melded and specifically design-built to represent the inspiration of the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty.
Measuring more than 1,200 square feet, the Grand Suite is our largest and most luxurious. A gracious foyer leads to a spacious living area with a fireplace, full wet bar, dining table and full stereo with speakers tucked throughout the suite. A private master bedroom has a four-post king bed, HD television, jetted tub and walk-in, three-head shower. This beautifully decorated suite, furnished with custom pieces and antiques, offers lovely views north on Salmon and east on Broadway.
Featuring an open floor plan, our 610-square-foot corner Warhol Suite is a guest favorite. Reflecting the pop art movement, this uniquely furnished, vibrantly-hued suite features shag carpet, a velvet sofa and some of the best pieces from the Heathman’s private art collection, most notably, several originals by the artist. A king bed, HD television and two full bathrooms are other features of this suite with north-facing views of Salmon Street.
